All about Easter

Easter Reflections

With OUR EYES we see
The beauty of Easter
as the earth awakens once more...

With OUR EARS we hear
The birds sing sweetly
to tell us Spring again is here...

With OUR HANDS we pick
the golden daffodils
and the fragrant hyacinths...

But only with OUR HEARTS
can we feel the MIRACLE of GOD'S LOVE
which redeems all men...

And only with OUR SOUL
can we make our 'pilgrimage to God'
and inherit His Easter Gift of ETERNAL LIFE.

April 7 - Resurrection Life

"Now upon the first day of the week, very early in the morning, they came unto the sepulchre, bringing the spices which they had prepared, and certain others with them. And they found the stone rolled away from the sepulchre. And they entered in, and found not the body of the Lord Jesus."
(Luke 24:1-3)

Truly, it's time for us to stop looking for the living among the dead. It's time for us to stop wandering around in the cemetery of sin, sickness and failure and to step into resurrection life!

As a resurrected creature, you're no accident going somewhere to happen. Your life isn't just a loose web of events and circumstances. God has specific plans for you.

Maybe He intends for you to have the greatest healing ministry of this century. Or perhaps He wants to turn you into a tremendous preacher. Maybe He has a revelation prepared for you that will enable you to bless the whole world. But you'll never know what He has in store for you until you put your attention on Him.

That's why the devil works hard to keep you focusing on the problems of life. That's why he tries to keep your attention turned away from the living Word of God. He doesn't want you to know you're full of the resurrection life of Jesus. In fact, the prospect of it terrifies him.

Why? Because once you truly understand that you have the life of God inside you, you'll begin to act just like Jesus did. You'll lay hands on the sick and they'll recover. You'll cast out demons. You'll preach the gospel to every creature.

In short, you'll be just what God intended you to be. You'll be the Body of Christ on the earth.

Don't let Satan bind you with the grave clothes of yesterday's sin and defeat. You're not dead anymore. You've been raised with Jesus. Come out from the tombs and start living resurrection life!

The Witness @ Grace Church Malaysia

Hi there, these are photos that uploaded by My lady Pastor Lai Fan of the scene that will played tml and saturday night.

The Witness

It is a musical about Jesus' born and story about the miracles that He has done while He was on earth... After the other stories in between... there comes the part how He was betrayed and crucified on the cross, for our sake! Lastly, not to forget about His resurrection from death and lastly got back to the Heaven. It's a very good and meaningful musical that further provide the insight meaning of what Easter means to Christians.

The details of the play could be found in my earlier post that Name- Easter

Look at the expressions of my church members... Im so proud of them!!!!

Bz days

Ok...

I had a very bz weekend that I hardly got time to sit down here to write any post for myself.

Friday went classes as usual, then CF... after CF went for a short fellowship session. Back home soon went out with Jacq and Chin Teik (company them to look for some stuff b4 the wedding, last min shopping.. sigh) and Eric Lim (my salsa performance partner for the night).

Conclusion of the shopping with them...

Crazy
Tiring
Exhausted

Back home around 11pm (we went mid valley with them around 5.30pm... calculate the hrs we've spent)...show them about the salsa dance me and Eric LIm has practice. Ok they are happy and fine with the steps...

They left, me and Eric LIm continue to prac. Connie called as she and Peter Lai is around my house.. so they came and somehow commented while looking at my prac. Me and Eric LIm stopped around 11.50pm... tire...

31st March (Saturday)

Morning

Jacq dono what it's called chinese ceremony where the bridegroom will be tortured before he can ever get his bride... ^^ ok I enjoyed this part cos Jacq has thought of ways to torture her husband-to-be before she become another member of the family. Three things the groom has to do before he could enter the room of the bride.

  1. Find the exact room where the bride is in. We locked three rooms and wait for the groom and the brothers to choose. The bride's maid was ordered to confuse the brothers team by wearing almost the same colour gown as the bride.
  2. Give the ang pao with the amount of RM313 (the bride said is the anniversary of their wedding). The brother team took more than 15 mins with negotiation of open the door then give the ang pao. However, due to the insistence of the bride, I was told to wait until the team give the amount to the sisters outside before proceed to the next steps...
  3. Say I love You, Jacqualine in 7 languages (Cantonese, mandarin, Hakka, Malay, Tamil, Korean, Japanese...) For those who knows Chin Teik would know that could be some problem for him due to his skin colour (Banana...) hehe
Ok, eventually everything was done.. I dono how long we actualyl took to torture the team lol. But the bride was having fun hearing the group shout and negotiate for me to open the door. hihi

After all the tea ceremony in the bride's side plus photo taking, I sent Katrina Wood (the bride's maid) over to the hotel- Cyberview resort. Definitely the journey was not as smooth and rapid as it seems in the writing here... (Im lazy and time is limited here ok?) Those who wanna know more details about it u can ask me when u see me... but it's my right whether to tell or not ahah...

Reached home around 2pm. Took my lunch (Ruski tomyam instant noodle) and head straight to shower and preparation for the dinner. (usher's team has to be there by 4.30pm)

As I could not find the songs for the dance I spent some time walking around in Endah parade with my latin dance teacher... the about 1 hr spent in there did not help in finding any salsa music. I got no choice but had to leave for the wedding...

*Gosh im lazy to explain any further... if u wanna know any more details about it.. U may visit my dear brother John Gan's blog for more detail description.

Conclusion of the wedding.. I was tire due to the bz schedule but it was really fun laughing and fellowshipping with my fello sisters and brothers from Eagles Nest... ^^

Ciao now.. need to complete my asg...

Whole day schedule

B2B Class:
Class was 9-11am... interesting Ms Kumari ^^

High Praise:

Today's high praise was awesome...

I enjoyed the session so much... I pray that everyone was able to enjoy the Lord's presence as me... lazy to write about the detail.

Andrew had taken the video so let's wait for the video to be out and it'll be easier for me to describe then.

Honestly speaking I can't really recall what we had really done in CF and how the high praise was carried out ahahah... my Short term memory... sigh

All I remember, I was carrying so many tables by myself and others were either not there or bz doing other stuff... So I was carrying them one by one from where they were to the back of the room and stack them up two by two. Later on bz setting up the equipments and amps and mics... *testing.. testing.. and testing*

I was making noise and talking nonsense trying to warm myself up and others especially those who are a little new to the CF or have not visit us for some time... We did not have many audiences other than the worship team.. but I hope it was a fruitful session for everyone. Finished worship session at 2pm and I was a bit shocked.

High praise suppose to be almost 1.5 hrs for non stop 8 songs going on.. we had decided to do just 6 songs on the Tue prac as most of the songs are moderate to slow instead of fast songs...

I was bz singing, listening to the instruments and giving sign to whether play softer or louder, faster or slower etc etc.. have to multi task wei... lol.. but was really fun...

I could say that's the best time i ever had in leading.. most comfortable one..

Praise the Lord, all Glory to His name!!! W/o His Grace and Mercy all these wonderful things would not be happening... Praise Him!!!!!

Oh yeah, from less than 17 ppls to sign up for the camp we have had 50 ppls fron ICSJ!!!! What a miracle~~~ Wonderful God! He is fulfilling His promise to the CF wei...

AFter CF... packed up.. blabla.. we went to Asia CAfe for tea...

Yumcha:

Fun... Although I got bullied by most of the members there.. All the fellos that are bigger size than me bully me kao kao today... what lar say me short... this and that... ~~~>_<~~~~~

Even my CF daddy also nv help me... BIG bully!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Im disappointed~

Pool:

Later followed them to go Pool...

It was my first day first time of really playing pool... ^^ Im a good gal ok I don't really hang around in those area lol.. Don't be offended cos Im kinda allergy to cigarette smell.. so... that's the reason why I did not explore the game until today.

Ok, they were laughing so loud when I first hit the ball...

But I know I can do it.. and I wish to pick it up even it might be really slow.

Slowly, Im able to hit in the ball w/o anyone's help... slowly, I know how to control the 'stick'...

Hmm... quite fun actually cos the CF fellos are all jokers ahahah...

Family:

Well well.. later on Shelies brought Ken Yew, Ken JOe and Joselin to join us for awhile... At last Ken yew got to see where his Ku Jie normally hang out and where's her college and how funny she is when she plays pool ahah... I guess this little boy had fun watching us too.. He was clapping hands and doing the 'yeah' sign whenever I hit in the ball or.. some times almost hit in. heheh

BEfore we left Asia CAfe, he saw the pool of fishes and turtles and all the sudden his energy went up to full bar and he was laughing and jumping and running to show us the fishes. Another thing that caught his eyes was the Macaws that is placed near to the pond. He kept showing us.. see.. bird.. see.. here got.. there got.. see... many birds... see... see... Ku Jie... see... Mummu.... see.... see... see..

Whenever I asked, Ken yew wanna go home? He will pretend that he never hear me and walk to the other side of the cage and again... 'see.... wah.... see.....' lol.. a smart boy he is...

We spend some times there standing and watching him showing us all the exciting creatures to him. Finally I got this idea of taking one photo with him in front of the cage and then we have to go home. So, he made the deal with me.... and we got to.... Go HOme.. Phew...
.
.
.
.
.
.
Cell Group:

Went to Cell.... was really fun too! Celebrated Michele's belated bday and tried on the Chocolate Peanut Butter cake or something, quite nice but a little sweet. Rajan bought us Sneakers too. It was done in within less than 15 mins... crazy ppl they are, whacking chocolate like no body's business...
.
.
.
we had Aunty Amy's Fried mee hoon too.. yummy yumy... it was 'done' in within 20 mins. Few of them came later after their short discussion and found it... empty.. eheh sorry wei... I did not finish them up. For I eat so little it's impossible for me to bottom up the whole big bowl of mee hoon..
.
.
talk... laugh.... chat.... giggle.... blabla....
.
.
.
.
.
11.10pm... Wah.. so late di.. So, everyone got up from the chair after Bex talk about leaving.

Got home like 11.35pm...

and now...

1.12am..

Wah.. late.. time to sleep!!!!

night!

Lessons on Life

Lessons on Life

There was a man who had four sons. He wanted his sons to learn not to judge things too quickly. So he sent them each on a quest, in turn, to go and look at a pear tree that was a great distance away.

The first son went in the winter, the second in the spring, the third in summer, and the youngest son in the fall.

When they had all gone and come back, he called them together to describe
what they had seen.

The first son said that the tree was ugly, bent, and twisted.

The second son said no it was covered with green buds and full of promise.

The third son disagreed; he said it was laden with blossoms that smelled so sweet and looked so beautiful, it was the most graceful thing he had ever seen.

The last son disagreed with all of them; he said it was ripe and drooping with fruit , full of life and fulfillment.

The man then explained to his sons that they were all right, because they had each seen but only one season in the tree's life.

He told them that you cannot judge a tree, or a person, by only one season, and that the essence of who they are and the pleasure, joy, and love that come
from that life can only be measured at the end, when all the seasons are up.

If you give up when it's winter, you will miss the promise of your spring, the beauty of your summer, fulfillment of your fall.

Moral lessons:

Don't let the pain of one season destroy the joy of all the rest.

Don't judge life by one difficult season.
Persevere through the difficult patches and better times are sure to come some time or later

Have a GOOD life yeah!!!

New experience

Shopping~

Went shopping with Shelies this afternoon around my house area after her interview in True Fitness...

In the shop .Tg-

I Bought...
1 Top
1 Short

She bought...
1 Half jacket sweater

Also, we've dig out few pairs of shoes and heels that suppose to be brought to the cobbler few century's back.

Yay, finally get my heels repaired, the Uncle was humble and gentle. It was quite cheap and I definitely will go back to him next time.

Hungry and we went for tea in Bakers... I had two slices of cakes and she ordered Nasi Lemak. Heavy tea huh? lol

Later on we went to another shop which stated buy 2 free 1.

But there was no customer and only one promoter standing at the bar reading magazine. Our visit did not change her position of reading and did not interrupt her concentration on the magazine at all. Ok, we shop on ourselves.

The shop is silent, no music... no nothing...

The clothes are.... old fashion, a little dirty and... the ambience makes me so uncomfortable...

However, I tried to lengthen my patient to stay even longer. Shelies went to try a top... iuuu.. not nice.

Massage~

Half way tru, we decided to go for some massage cos my shoulders are aching and was looking for a massage for quite some time. Then she reveal that she has a free voucher of RM50 to go for a full body massage... hehe.. of course we went...

So, it was my very first time of visiting any massage centre. We were laughing on our own for asking stupid questions and giggling for taking out our clothes... even underwear...

Me and she was like, eh.. don't look at me ah.. don't peep ah.. bla bla.. then we laugh again...

Giggling

It was good, the skill of the therapist was good and the ppl there are friendly.

Im lazy to write out all the benefits we have for just RM50, but it was something like got foot bath, then massage your back- from shoulder to toe, then your front- from head to shoulder, then tummy to toe. (Don't think even further I tell u...).....

Cut long story short.. for RM50, it is realy worth it to lye down there and enjoy for 1.5 hours. eheh compares to Ziling one mine sounds more worth it right? Yeah yaeh she got it free.. but I have to pay.. hehe...

I always wanted to go for a nice massage, but always leave that mind behind when comes to think of the price of it. But this time, just feel like treating myself a little better.

So me and Shelies have decided to go for spa and massage together once i got a job... periodically. And of course we wanna bring mummy along for her to enjoy with us too. I know she has not been to any of all this even at the age of almost 60.

Well, wel.. that's all.

Oh yeah before we went for the massage we went over to another .Tg in Taipan. There Shelies got her full set of armor eheh. Her motivation of her first day of work after two months of 'holiday' at home (maternity leave). So, now she has something even more modern than me. That kinda belt, necklace, dress,... that's all I guess. She is so happy and satisfy of her 'reward'!

hehe Thank God for putting us together in one roof. So she can always bring me whenever she wanna shop for me to choose the clothes for her... And I also get to enjoy shopping for ppl too ahah... Yeah I love to make ppl feel good, as in like matching and mixing for ppl so that they will look good.. that kinda thing

Yeah.. that's all.. lazy to write di...

Ciao
still coughing... throat feeling better... but... phlegm that stuck in my throat makes me feel uncomfortable...

had a good rest y'day.. in fact I slept from 6 something evening till this morning 8 something. Im not the kinda sleeping-person.. but the pill that doctor gave makes me drowsy... >_<

Wonderful Day~

Part 1: HairCUt

Went over to Kenn's place to trim my hair at about 4pm...

half and hour later... this is the result...

Back

Front

Side

I did not really change much in terms of the style.. but just asked Kenn to cut it little shorter, thinner layer to make it more in shape and easier to be shaped that's all...

I really love the side view where it looks super like... stylish eheh... Guess the cost...

It is...

RM15 ONLY....

Cheap... and Nice!

In case many of you do not know where I normally cut my hair, this is my personal hairstylist cum best friend ... Kenn Lee.

His contact is 016-6114077. Location is Kepong Maluri...

If u wanna change any style or get your hairdo guaranteed, you should know who to look for. There might be other places where the price could be even lower, but you can never deny the effort to travel all the way to kepong is worthwhile when you are able to look better in a reasonable price.

Part 2: Fellowship + Friendship

I went over straight to One Utama as my family has planned to have dinner in Shogun to celebrate my dad's 70th Anniversary birthday. Eric and John Gan came over to One Utama to somehow fill up my empty slot before my family come over. We do not know where and what to do and had been lingering to think of where should we rest our feet and munch something. I did not each anything other than the cup of White coffee from Old Town Kopitiam to save my stomach for all the sushi.

Here are some photos that we've taken to record down our footprint...

Clear enough this is me...

me and ah John Gan (realised he is always in Orange???)

and the very last... Innocent-wanna-be Eric Teng Teng Teng

That's all for the shots..

One amazing thing after we sat down in the Old Town Kopitiam was.. they were actually playing Christian albums... loudly.. lol

NOt that it is something new, but because we seldom experience it other than in Christian book stores!! ^^
I enjoy the atmosphere definitely, for I love worship songs sooooo much that can never keep my mouth shut for not following and singing the songs...

Time flies... after the chatting, laming (not me of course), laughing....

The two very gentleman brothers of mine (in Christ lar...) walked me over to Shogun to meet up my parents... so, another part of the story had began...

Part 3: Sam Family

The very cute Ken Yew called me KU Jie out loud when he reached the table. Who could ever resist this kinda cute boy that shout your name out sweetly? I Can't... After almost the end of the food session only I remembered I had brought my camera and should take down some photos...

This is where we started... after taking our own photo, Ken Yew and me took photos for everyone...

Daddy and Mummy (his yeye and yen yen)

his daddy and mummy (my 2nd bro-mervyn, and sis-in-law Shelies, definitely not my dad and mum lol)

hihi we took another photo of us. Shelies said Ken Yew looks like my little bf... lol

After some time of playing with him, we both created this game of ours lol....

It is not dirty as you think ok? We are playing the muakz game lar... Even if we really fall in love also would be family love and not that kinda thing you are thinking right now... Iuuuuu....

Connie and Jason (my 1st brother family)

This is Joselin! The new maid of my house, to take care of Ken Joe currently...

See how sweet and sound a baby can sleep...

I asked him to pose beside Jos...

There, another maid that has been in my house since... last year... Yati

Sleeping baby in my arm

tang tang tang tang!!!!

The Sam Family!!!!!

These are all the members in my house if u wanna do a household database record.. The number of members are expanding since years ago. About 8 yrs back our family was as small as five members, now we are 11 in numbers and another new expected baby girl in July. Woo.... 12 members! Now we can consider our family as a Big Family eheh... sounds really COOL!

See... Lovely family isn't it???

And the most precious photo of the day is..........

Tada... lovely couple for more than 40 years.

They both were born in the era of babyboomers and are quite shy in terms of showing the love towards each other. However they got no choice but to be influenced day-by-day due to the Modern thoughts that have been inserted through me and Shelies hehe... I actually asked mummy to kiss daddy as a bday present and payback as daddy has been doing it each time during Mother's day or her bday, but she was shy and did not want to do it... I can understand lar.. we were in a Public restaurant where all the tables around us were full of peoples...

After the 2nd time of asking her and her rejection, I compromise to just letting daddy put his arm on her shoulder. Who knows this super cute, funny and naughty daddy has planned to give her a kiss when I was about to snap the photo. ^O^

Lovely!!!!!!

Now you know all my naughty genes inherited from where right????

May God bless my family... and Thank God for putting me in the family and all the blessings He has given. I know it clear that I will never get to enjoy this without Him blessing everyone of us!!!

All Praise to the Almighty Lord God Jesus

some Photos- Do u think there's a huge difference of how i look???

Before I cut My hair~~~

A steamboat night with my fello classmates

That One U outing day with the gang.

Photo taken in Cat's hp

New Hairstyle~~~

Side View-Within an hour after I have cut and rehighlighted my hair

Back view- it suppose to be this shape, but definitely after I wash and etc it will not be the same anymore... I knew it...T_T(that's y I purpose took the photo to remind myself it suppose to be that nice... I meant the style that Kenn made for me)

Front was like this..

That very same night I met up with my very old friends, Yoke Wee after more than 5 yrs of not seeing each other... (my hair still in good shape right?)

Photo that I look last night with Aaron Mar.
See the shape all like... haiz.....

Im jz wondering.. do I really look different after cuting my hair short?????
