Many would find it difficult to cook, especially when you are alone.
The fact is, it is NOT difficult at all. All you need is some resources such as instant noodle (or any type of noodle you like), some veges, meats, onion, and some seasoning of course. You can always open your fridge and make full use of the existing materials you can get.
Below is what I had cooked for myself for today's lunch:-
Vege Crabstick Noodle Soup
Ingredients:-
- Instant noodle (dry Indo Mee pack)
- Some Celeries
- Carrot
- Two sticks of crab stick (cut into round pieces)
- Seasoning from the instant noodle pack, pour them out and mixed with some hot water. Stir until it's even and leave it aside.
- Oil
- Hot water (a cup)
- Medium Size Onion (slice it into the size that you like)
- Chili source (optional)
How to Cook:-
- Put hot water into the pot, put in the noodle after the water is boiled.
- Cook the noodle to 3-5 minutes, preferably slightly harder than the softness that you like.
- Drained the noodle and leave it aside to standby.
- Heat up the wok (make sure the wok is fully dry before you pour in the oil), evenly spread the oil around the wok.
- Put in the sliced onion (turn the fire lower or your onion will turn too burned) and stir it.
- Add in carrot slices into the wok, continue stirring (carrot need longer cook time until it is soften that's why have to add in at the early stage)
- Add in celeries (it is also hard in texture that need some time to cook), continue to stir.
- Add in meat slices (can be any meat), add some oil if you find the wok is dry. Evenly stir all the ingredients until you see the meat turn white (means it is sort of cook).
- Add in a cup of hot water and pour the seasoning that had pre-mixed earlier into the wok, stir to make sure it's even.
- Add in the pre-cooked noodle and stir.
- Put in all the crab sticks and stir a little.
- Add in some chili source if you like it spicy to your preference of spiciness.
- Turn up the fire and stir till all the ingredients are even then off the fire
- Pour the noodle soup in a bowl.
- And your simple, yet tasty noodle soup is served.
The secret to get the taste that you want is keep tasting it while you are cooking. And, turn your fire lower when you have to walk away from the wok to get any of your ingredients.
If you have tried the steps above, you will find that cooking a bowl of nice tasty noodle is so handy that simply can be done in less than 15 minutes (exclude the preparation of ingredients yeah)...
SO...
Enjoy your meal....
*smile*
p/s: I have the photo taken using my mobile, however, will need some time to get it up in the blog... Please be patience yeah.
